Greetings,
Thank you, in advance, for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this letter. For those across America who are not familiar with our ministry, please allow me a moment to introduce myself and family.
I accepted the Lord Jesus as my personal Savior, at the age of 7, at an Old Fashioned Baptist Church in Flat Rock, NC. At the age of 16, The Lord placed His “Call” upon my life to preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. At the age of 20, the Lord burdened my heart to “plant” a new Independent Baptist Church in Fletcher, NC. In January 1996, by God’s grace, we were able to start the Biltmore Baptist Tabernacle. In January 2, 2001, the Lord opened a door for the Church to re-locate, upon which our Church re-commissioned as Progress Baptist Church. For almost 10 years, we observed the Lord perform great and mighty things for “His Name-Sake”. In the Summer of 2011, the Lord spoke to my heart the words I prayed he would never speak, but should be expected from a “church planter”. Being obedient to the Lord, and assured I had fulfilled the work at Progress that He had called my family and I to do, I resigned in September 2011. The Church is flourishing today under the direction of Bro. Doug Raynes and accomplishing great things for the Lord.
I gave the Lord the “blank check” for him to fill in the details, when I was 16 years old, however, this was my first experience in the ministry that all I knew was that He wanted me to “GO”. It was the “where” and “what” that I had to learn for myself. My family and I went back to our home church, Anchor Baptist Church, Pastor Dr. Randy Barton, Pisgah Forest, NC, to wait for further direction. In 2012, the wonderful people of the Calvary Baptist Mission, Pisgah Forest, NC, asked me to be their Pastor. I am very thankful for the time the Lord allowed my family and I to serve this great church. Yet, in my heart I knew the Lord had yet to fill in the “details” for the call to “Go”. At the age of 38, I had planted two independent Baptist Churches and pastored two more. All that my family and I knew was the “pastorate” for 20 years. In September of 2014, for the first time in 3 years, the Lord gave me the details for “what” and “where” I needed to fulfill the ministry he had called us to do.
I have also been employed in the “Fire Service” since I was 20 years old. During that time, serving as a “Bi-Vocational Pastor”, the Lord allowed me to rapidly become a Certified/Accredited Fire Marshal. Why this rapid promotion occurred, became clear in 2010. A great Baptist Boy’s Home and Christian School had been surprised by multiple government agencies from their state, due to a “false accusation”. While all the agencies that scrutinized this wonderful ministry could not find one excuse to “shut down” the operation of the Home, the State Fire Marshal observed multiple “Fire Code” violations, that the Ministry had no knowledge of, due to their location/proximity to Fire Marshal’s Office. Earlier in 2010, I had assisted the Christian Law Association with several “Fire Code Issues” that was affecting Ministries across the country, yet now, it was not about an “issue”, but an “imminent closure” of a ministry. Since then, the Lord has allowed my family and I to travel across America helping “Bible-Believing” Ministries understand, mediate, represent, and intervene when “Fire Code and Regulatory Scrutiny” came knocking on their door. While consulting on behalf of these great ministries, the Lord would also fill in the remaining “details” for our life. God was calling us into “Evangelism”.
In November of 2014, I surrendered to the “will of God” and “stepped aside” as Pastor of Calvary Baptist Mission. On December 1st, 2014, I moved from Mills River, NC, to Bismarck, ND, to begin laying the foundation for the future of “Full Proof Ministries and Consulting Services”. I am currently serving as “Fire Marshal” for the City of Bismarck, yet, also aware that God has not sent me across the Country to be a “Fire Marshal”, but rather to preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the lost and encourage the hundreds of “Bible-Believing” Churches scattered across the Midwest and Upper Midwest of America.
I am grateful for the privilege to serve with Anchor Baptist Missions International and Dr. Randy Barton, in Pisgah Forest, NC, and earnestly request your prayers for my family and I as we prepare to move permanently to Bismarck, ND, at the end of July. I would also ask you would prayerfully consider partnering with “Full Proof Ministries and Consulting” as a home-mission outreach in your missions budget or a one-time gift to assist with the great expenses to move a family of eight across the country. Your financial partnership and prayers will fulfill not one, but three important needs in the Upper Midwest and Midwest region for the Glory of God:
Evangelism- Reach lost souls and encourage hundreds of “Bible-Believing” Independent Baptist Churches that are scattered throughout the Western United States that need revival and encouragement, yet cannot afford to purchase a plane ticket or pay for gas for a visiting Evangelist to come across the country to encourage their Congregation, much less the Pastor and Family. My family and I will be centrally located in the Midwest, within 12-14 hrs. driving distance, to all these Churches and Ministries. Loneliness is the #1 cause for Missionaries and Mission Works in the Upper Midwest, to become discouraged. King James Bible Preaching and Old Fashioned singing/music can make a difference for these important church plants that many of your churches have supported in the past.
Fire Code and Regulatory Assistance- Full Proof Consulting Services will stand available 24 Hours a day on behalf of Bible-Believing Ministries facing “Fire Code and Regulatory Scrutiny” that paralyzes the ministry and potentially could “shut-down” the work being fulfilled for the Lord. Biblical and Professional Regulatory Resources, Quality Assurance Solutions, and Crisis Mitigation Representation will be available to these Churches/Ministries, who cannot afford to hire “Professional Assistance and Representation”. Currently, there is no “Ministry Resource” in America that offers this type of regulatory assistance to Churches, Ministries, Pastors, and Leaders, as a “Home-Mission Outreach”. (Examples for Missionary Legal Assistance; CLA, NCLL) (No Missionary Regulatory Consultant)
Independent Baptist Church Plant- Since December 1st, the Lord has allowed us to conduct three separate Bible Study Groups on a Monthly/Weekly basis. There is a great need for KJV Independent Baptist Church Plants in Bismarck, North Dakota, and the Upper Midwest. God has given us the experience to accomplish this great work, and has already opened the door for weekly services on Sunday Morning in an old church building, apart from the three separate Bible Studies Groups. While I have surrendered to “Evangelism”, I am also prepared to establish and plant a new Church in Bismarck and assist in other areas, as the Lord leads. Please pray for a Preacher and his family to hear the call of God for this area, while I labor to establish the work.
While I am not able to “go on deputation” or visit your Church/Ministry personally to present this 3-Fold Missions Burden and Vision, please consider that I have chosen to “step-out” into this mission field without existing support, get a job to take the pressure off for excessive compensation for meetings/travel in evangelism, and to verify my “extreme urgency” to get to work immediately for the sake of this 3-Fold Burden and Need in the West. While I am unworthy of one cent of your gift or monthly missions support, please feel free to contact my Pastor for confirmation of ministry integrity, testimony, experience, doctrine, and trustworthiness.
