New Bible Study Outline- Cults and the Occult: "Understanding Cults Socially/Secularly as a Bible Believer". In the 60's and 70's a "Cult" was labeled as a deviant religious group deriving their inspiration from outside of the religious culture. Derrogatory connotations associated with a "Cult", included; kidnapping, brainwashing, psychological abuse, sexual abuse, criminal activity, and mass suicide. Today, the term "Cult" has been re-defined to fit the "Left's Devious Agenda" to demonize the Bible Believing, Born-Again Christian and Church. You and I are now considered a "Cult" if you participate in any of the following: National Patriotism and Sovereignty, State Rights, Inspired Authority of the Bible, Gun Rights Activism, Anti-Abortion Views, Firm Belief in Traditional Marriage, Heavy involvement in Religious Activity (Financially and Physically), and Firm Belief in the Coming of Lord.
